WIAW--Tamar's Eats






It's time for another "What I Ate Wednesday" hosted by Peas and Crayons. Featured here are Tamar's good eats from a Wednesday not so long ago...

Breakfast: 

Organic Steel Cut Oats topped with chopped apples, walnuts, flax meal, and a drizzle of Black Strap Molasses
On-the-Go Snack:

Um..Yum!
Day dreaming while I "Nom, nom, nom!!"
Check out this vitamin water! I'm not usually one for fruit flavored waters, but this was too nifty not to try.

Apparently vitamins deteriorate in water over time, so this brand keeps the vites locked in the lid until you're ready to consume.

"Peel. Push. Shake." Ok!

Peeled and ready to push that little button...

Look closely...there go the vitamins into the water! Wowza! Shake, shake, shake.

Ooooh, frothy. Tasty too!
Lunch:
Home-made vegetarian chilli (leftover from dinner) over Organic Brown Rice. Topped with Organic greens from my garden!
 Last Moments of Solitude:
Sometimes I sit on my porch swing during the last moments before the school bus arrives (with my three oldest children on it!) and enjoy a cup of tea or a cup of Joe. Hey guess what else? I made that mug!! My library had a one night pottery workshop recently and I made my first piece ever. I can't wait to make more!
Afternoon Snack with the Kiddos:
This was another on-the-go snack because on Wednesday afternoons the kids, the baby and I go down the street right after school to teach a family yoga class at the dance studio. Pictured here, Roasted Red Pepper Monterrey Jack Cheese and Gluten Free Pecan Nut Thins. Like our re-usable snack bag? Get yours here.
Dinner:
Brown Rice, Green Beans, Curried Red Lentils, and a glass of "Three Buck Chuck" from Trader Joe's.
